The trouble with questions of this broad nature is that it is almost impossible to give a straightforward 'yes' or 'no' answer.
Some crimes, particularly crimes against property, appear to me to be disproportionately punished by the courts.
Others, particularly crimes against the person and murder, seem by contrast to receive wholly inadequate sentences.
