I personally oppose the concept of capital punishment but I do see why others don't.. especially in a case like this one and can I respect their stance.
my thoughts are with the victims and their families, as well as with Peter Cantu's family who too got victimized by his actions ...
my thoughts are also with Peter Cantu since I still believe that NONE should die by the hands of another .. Peter screwed his own and many other lives up way back then and I do not think his death will or can make up for any of this

let me add one thing, one person who deserves to get mentioned here: I admire Joe Cantu's strenght and decency .. Joe Cantu is Peter Cantu's brother and the person who called police (even though anonymously).. but he did.. the reason why I admire him is the strenght and decency he showed .. he gave his brother Peter up which surely hasn't been easy .. just imagine you had to give your brother up.. must be a hard thimg to do .. but doing so he not only helped solve this case but surely rescued the life of more potential future victims ..
hats off to you Joe Cantu !!
